Lakeview High School officials announced the 1974-75 year ends May 19 with honors night and May 20 for commencement at 7 p.m. in the gym. Guest speaker is Joseph Preusser, dean of faculty at Platte College, a Petersburg native with degrees from Wayne State, Nebraska Omaha, and studies at Lincoln. Diplomas will be awarded to 48 seniors. top ten percent honored. The ceremony features Bach’s Joy by the band and You’ll Never Walk Alone by the senior vocal groups.

Niemeyer Faces Further Charges in Nebraska Case
A rural Humphrey man, Charles Niemeyer, was arrested Monday by Nebraska State Patrol investigators. He faces charges of breaking and entering an automobile and possession of marijuana and amphetamines related to a May 7 incident involving a car owned by Doug Bissell. He was also arrested on August 18 on similar complaints and is held in District Court.
