Man Arrested for Stolen Automobiles in Platte County
Roger Lee Snider twenty of York was arrested by Platte County Sheriff officers Wednesday evening in connection with two stolen autos in March. Snider faces a high grade misdemeanor charge for taking an automobile for wrongful use with a potential $100 to $300 fine and three to six months in jail. The two cars stolen belonged to Robert McHugh and Katie Schaefer on March 23 and 2%. McHugh’s auto was abandoned on UP Railroad tracks east of Columbus and struck by a train. Schaefer’s car was found near a Columbus trailer court.
