Newman Grove city schools received memorial gifts honoring former students and staff. Gifts include an outside school sign listing activities, a bulletin board for the new gym, a cassette recorder for the library, a clock for the cafeteria, and a dance band drum set, all donated by individuals connected to faculty and students.

Trinity ALCW program on India topic at church

Trinity ALCW met Thursday at the church with Mrs Don Wedekind leading the India program. Mrs William Kralik read an article and George Henrickson accompanied. Lenten services begin March 7 with co-hostesses Mrs Wedekind and Mrs Sam Skillstad. Funeral services for Alfred F Kojetinsky, retired regional director of the United Stock workers of America, were scheduled for Thursday at Bal Twin, Missouri.
