Chicago Seven freed on bail after appeals court ruling
The Chicago Seven, cleared of conspiring to incite riots over the 1968 Democratic National Convention, were freed on bail by a U.S. Appeals Court which said they were not dangerous. They were warned against seditious speeches while remaining free pending appeals. bail set at 155000 with 10 percent posted by attorneys Kunstler and Weinglass.
