Plane crash toll climbs to one hundred ten near Kennedy
A Thanksgiving Day 727 jetliner Flight 66 of Eastern Air Lines crashed near Kennedy International Airport during a thunderstorm. The reported death toll reached 110 with 14 survivors. Seven calves killed by stray dogs in Norfolk Nebraska

Judge Takes Cases Under Advisement In Platte County
Two Rhode Island men, Keith Sullivan and Lawrence Fontaine, remain in bail after county court appearances. Judge Gerald Rouse held the cases under advisement with further action in seven days.
