Lincoln drops two oxen from tourism program

Lincoln reports Economic Development Director Stanley Matzke Jr. will drop Neb and Reska, the two oxen, from the tourism promotion effort. The shift of the program from the State Game Commission to the Economic Development Department by the 197 Legislature prompted the change, with annual feed and transport costs about 4000 dollars for four oxen, which could be spent elsewhere.
