United Press International reports Israeli artillery struck an Egyptian ammunition dump in the southern Suez Canal zone Friday night, with flames visible. An Israeli spokesman said the shelling was in retaliation for Egyptian fire, while a Jordanian-Israeli clash north of the Dead Sea left a guerrilla dead. A PFLP station in Beirut claimed Palestinian resistance pressured Jordan and Jordanian leaders visited troops. Soviet cosmonauts complete 18 day space flight checks
