Nebraska Council to decide on 375 sewage projects Friday

The Nebraska Control Council will meet in Kearney to review a priority listing from the State Environmental Department for 375 community sewage treatment construction projects. No federal funds are yet available for the 75 percent state share, though distribution favors second and third phase projects. Citizens may appeal the ranking, and the list includes numerous towns from Scottsbluff to Lincoln with varied phase designations.
