OMAHA NEB AP reports May inflow to Missouri River system reservoirs was four times normal due to heavy rainfall. Gen Edwin Vt O Donnell Missouri River Division Engineer says storage reached 66 174 000 acre feet with releases cut to 1000 cfs early May then increased to 40 000 cfs as rain waned. Six main stem power plants produced 1 145 million kilowatt hours in May, aiding a year total above five billion kWh.
