Grand champion cattle and hogs sell at Platte County Fair
At Agricultural Park the grand champion steer weighed 1,210 pounds and sold for 61,016 to Columbus Petroleum of Columbus, while the grand champion market heifer brought 71 cents a pound for Jan Rodehorst of Columbus. The sale closed after a light Saturday shower and featured top hogs including a grand reserve.
