Bert Gissler Dale Clark Newman Grove and Helen Johnson Stromsburg enjoyed a Colorado vacation and Denver visit. Mrs Dean Wheeler hosted a Monday coffee honoring newcomers Mrs Carlos Nossa and Mrs Mon Slerup celebrating birthdays.
Hospitalized Osceola residents Elsie Cerny and another former Osceola resident underwent major surgery in Denver. Cerny is a Mercy Hospital patient at Romy 805. Jim Robinson has returned from the Veterans Hospital in Omaha. Chaves Walgreen was discharged last week from Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.
Washington AP says the prosecution finished its jury case against Lt. Gov. Fd Reinecke after five days without calling Rep. Bob Wilson, who helped raise funds for the 1972 GOP convention. Prosecutor Davis offered no explanation for Wilson’s exclusion as defense crosses witnesses. Notes show Reinecke discussed bringing the convention to San Diego and told Mitchell by phone about plans to relocate to San Diego.
