ANNAPOLIS Md CAP The U S Naval Academy announced it has dismissed seven midshipmen for dealing on a navigations examination last May. Vice Adm. William P Mack academy superintendent said an additional 13 midshipmen were placed on honor probation after a lengthy examination into the cheating incident.
Work on a Council Bluffs urban renewal shopping center paused after Cement Finishers Local 338 picketed about 80 sites in the Omaha-Council Bluffs area. Herbert Anderson of Anderson Construction Co. won a court injunction to stop the picketing, while the union vows to pursue its rights in court as about 300 cement finishers are idled.
