An Omahan man, Lyle W. Lawson, in serious condition after shot by Patrolman Don Mills during a burglary attempt late Tuesday. Mills and other officers chased two men seen loading a television into a car in a northcentral Omaha neighborhood. one fled and was shot at 104 feet, while the second suspect was arrested nearby with pilfered items.
