Nebraskans Safe After Gulf Sailboat Drift Fears
Three Nebraskan sailors from Kearney and Grand Island drifted for nearly three days in a 26 foot sailboat after a storm in the Gulf of California. They reached shore near Mulege Baja California Sur. Coast Guard had halted search before a phone call from Ready’s parents confirmed their safety.

Brushing Teeth Debated as Ineffective, British Study
A British government report based on 13 000 children finds brushing teeth three times daily shows no impact on dental decay. The study in England and Wales shows similar decay rates across different brushing frequencies, with about 72 percent of daily brushers and 71 percent of less frequent brushers having tooth decay.
