Emploees drop suit for representation
In Tangoln Nebraska the American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees has dropped suits to represent units of the Department of Public Institutions and the Department of Roads. The Court of Industrial Relations heard that the state argued lack of jurisdiction over state government and the union moved to dismiss with prejudice, and later to dismiss without prejudice. An order was issued Thursday directing the cases be dismissed.

State farmers plan 7 percent spring acreage rise

The AAA Cornhusker Motor Club reports one of four service stations in Nebraska could run out of gasoline by month’s end.
