Mrs. Henry Beel of Julaistown, Nebraska Department Auxiliary president, will preside over Columbus hosting of the Mid-Year Conference. The event opens Saturday at 8 30 a.m. at Holid. Beel’s career includes district and state service, VA recognitions, and wide community involvement. Jury Seated in Simants Murder Trial at North Platte
A seven woman and five man jury was seated for the Erwin Simants murder case in Lincoln County Nebraska. The panel was sequestered to await two alternate jurors from four men and two women as reporters were finally admitted to cover the proceedings.
