Scottsbluff fuel bargainland ends gas war linger

The Comhbushker Motor Club says Scottsbluff remains a fuel bargainland for car owners after a recent gas war that saw regular gasoline drop to about 99.9 cents a gallon at some stations. The club reports Scottsbluff now averages around 53 cents per gallon with a Nebraska price spread of 19 cents between the lowest and highest cites.

Congress may pause post office closings for six months
