Dental Laboratory Technology Program Earns ADA Approval

Hastings CNTC secures approved status and full accreditation from the American Dental Association Council on Dental Education. The CI Governing Board noted only seven programs nationally hold this accreditation. A supplemental budget of 144,700 was approved to fund campus renovations and maintenance, including street work, sidewalk construction, parking lot resurfacing, exterior painting, and building upgrades, financed by unanticipated state aid. President Dr. Chester H. Gausman cited federal building grants and four years of neglecting maintenance to focus on instructional needs, now offset by the new funds. A further 16,000 was approved to finance computer operation in the business offices, presented by Kim Underwood.
