Melvern L. Holtkamp, 38, died unexpectedly Saturday at home. He was a state maintenance worker and Army veteran. Funeral rites are planned for Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Meschke. military honors at Columbus. Burial at cemetery. He was born August 17, 1992 in Platte County near Creslon and resided in Iowa. Survived by his wife Joyce Grafelueschen, three sisters, one brother, seven nephews and six nieces. an infant daughter and a nephew preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Dennyd. Cuetkenhaus Jr 69 of Belvidere Illinois formerly Lindsay were held at St James Church Belvidere. The Rev C K McCarren officiated with burial in Queen of Heaven Highland Garden of Memories. He died at St Joseph Hospital Belvidere after a three day illness. Born September 2 1911 in Lindsay son of Henry and Anna Luetkenhaus Sr he married Colette Widhalm November 28 1939 at Lindsay. They moved to Belvidere 30 years ago. He was custodian of St James School and Church and served as an usher. Survivors include his wife two sons William Belvidere and Richard Camas WA six daughters Marguerite Corey Mary Helen Ruth and Jon Luetkenhaus all Belvidere Kathleen Rockford Jr and seven grandchildren. Also four brothers Herman Schuyler Frank Humphrey Eugene Lindsay and Andrew Rock Island IL and three sisters Aes Anna Braun Columbus Margie Kurlenbach Omaha and Sister Theresa Manitowoc WI. He was preceded by his parents and a sister Mildred Van Dyke Humphrey.
