Two injured in Dunbar plane crash Sunday

In Dunbar two Nebraskans Harold Gross age 52 and Melvin Gross age 44 were injured when their Piper Cub stalled at 50 to 75 feet during a coy ote hunt and crashed into a hill one mile north northeast of town. Harold Gross was seriously hurt while Melvin Gross was in good condition at St Marys Hospital Nebraska City. The Rolls Bros owner aircraft based at Nebraska City.

Rockets Hit Pakse In Laos War Attack

North Vietnamese and Pathet Lao troops fired M1 long-range rockets into Pakse, a government stronghold in southern Laos. The missiles struck nearby villages, killing one and wounding several, while some targets including the U S Agency for International Development compound sustained no damage. Pakse lies 270 miles southeast of Vientiane as government forces face control by North Vietnamese along the Ho Chi Minh Trail.
