He described the launch timing, flight to impact, and the Saturn V booster as the largest US rocket with a 150 ton Stage 1, 14 5 feet tall, 33 feet diameter, jettisoned at about 38 miles altitude.

Nebraska Educational Television Network said it will broadcast next week's fundraiser for Governor Norbert Tiemann with Vice President Spiro Agnew as the main speaker. Coverage begins at 6 30 p.m. at the Pershing Auditorium with Agnew scheduled to speak at 9 p.m. and the event ending at 9 30 p.m. Tickets are 30 dollars per plate.

Twelve Alameda County deputy sheriffs were indicted on civil rights charges linked to the Berkeley People’s Park disturbances last May. The indictments name eight deputies over shotgun shootings and allege prisoner abuse at Santa Rita Center after mass arrests.
About 150 students at St Marys elementary school were sent home for an unscheduled holiday when six teachers and the principal fell ill. The school offices canceled classes and arranged for students to depart early as substitute plans were considered.
Services are set for Avy Private First Class Frank Spencer TIT, 20, of Omaha. He died in Vietnam on the 23rd. Son of Mr and Mrs Frank Spencer Jr and a Central High School graduate. Rites at 1 pm Wednesday at Rising Star Baptist Church with burial at Forest Lawn.

SIDNEY Iowa, officials charged 28 year old Larry Lee Brace of Council Bluffs with carrying concealed weapons and an attempted armed robbery at a Farragut grocery store. A tall slender man wearing dark clothing entered the store and demanded money. He fled in a car with Potawatomi County plates and was later arrested near Taher, Iowa by Fremont County deputies. Brace is set for arraignment in Fremont County Court.
