Pastoral plan for hospital
The Columbus Area Ministerial Association and Columbus Community Hospital launched an on call pastoral care service for Protestant patients. A volunteer minister will be available day or night if a patient’s regular pastor cannot be reached and will visit Protestants without church ties or from out of town. The association coordinates the program with volunteer churches Federated Church St Luke s Highland Park Evangelical Free Church First Hoplist Church Grace Episcopal Church and First United Methodist Church. A Catholic program with St Bonaventure already provides emergency on call service.
