Lincoln Nebraska AP An up to date version of Nebraska s constitution was placed in circulation Tuesday by Secretary of State Allen Beermann. The 58 page document includes the 28 constitutional amendments approved by voters this year along with all 16 legislative submissions from the May primary and 12 of 16 amendments from the November general election.

Independence Missouri AP reports Harry S Truman never used a middle name. The unique initial stemmed from grandfathers Anderson Shippe Truman and Salomon Young. A reporter asked about preference for period or none, Truman replied it doesn’t matter. The period eventually became official on stationery, library covers, book jackets, and his biography jacket.
