Revenue Department Opens Columbus Office January 2
Nebraska Revenue Department will open a taxpayer assistance office in Columbus on January 2 with Gary Brazeal in charge. The office, in the old city hall, will be open Mondays and Fridays 8 am to 5 pm and on January 27 February 3 February 10 and April 7 for federal IRS help as well. The Columbus Theatre opened Christmas Day 1926 in a grand vaudeville era. It drew 2,400 for opening performances with 1,900 attending the next day as films and acts showcased classic cinema.
