GOCA funding decision may be delayed next week

Two Die in Denver Fires In Separate Incidents

Denver police report two elderly residents died in separate fires on Thursday. Juan Arguello, 66, apparently ignited his kitchen stove causing fatal flames. his body was found after neighbors failed to reach him. Joyce Blatnik, age unknown, died in a single-story house blaze as it spread from a back porch, with firefighters locating her body in the bathroom.

Nebraskan killed in Kansas accident

Body recovered from Wind River near Thermopolis Wyoming

A scuba diver pulled the body of 16 year old Lowellula from the icy Wind River fifteen miles south of Thermopolis after a car plunged into the river following a likely icy patch on U S 90. Thermopolis officials coordinated search efforts as four city rescue teams used boats and rafts to probe river deck holes. Mrs Fulton was found earlier, and the incident raised Wyoming's traffic fatality toll to 190 this year.
