Chrismons deepen holiday flavor at Shell Creek church
A Shell Creek Lutheran Church Christmas tree gains meaning from Chrismons symbols. Rev E J Raaum explains Christ monograms and Christian emblems, including stars, crosses, lambs, doves, chalice, fish, and the Trinity, all white and gold for purity and majesty. The display was created by church women during 1968 Vacation Bible School.
