State Health Dept moves considered for Lincoln site
State Board of Health on May Day recommended relocating the State Health Department to the former Black Couch Support Club building in south Lincoln. Dr William Higgins led a search committee and said the move is a verbal request with a Sept deadline, while the Bureau of Vital Statistics would stay in the Capitol. The board asked for written notification and a specific moving date.
