Omaha power plant vows clean safe economical design
Omaha Public Power District engineers presented Fort Calhoun's 457,000 kilowatt nuclear plant as clean, safe, and economical. They outlined construction, economics, and environmental testing showing background radiation will not rise significantly and discharges will remain minor.
