Severe weather hits southeast Nebraska with tornado damage
A severe weather system swept much of southeast Nebraska with tornadoes and damaging hail. One woman, Mrs. Robert Fiser, 41, was hospitalized in Kansas with back injuries and broken ribs after a tornado swept through the Fiser farm. The storm knocked out power to Daykin and damaged farms near Fairbury and Wilber as a Pacific cold front lingered across the region.
