Boheet Place in Platte County and Its Meaning
Boheet was a settlement 13 miles north of Columbus with a 1882 post office on Elk Creek run by Herman Lueschen until 1905. The Boheet Farm Bureau lasted until World War II and the District 46 school shared the name. Pork banquet and queen contest planned for Columbus
The 1975 Nebraska Pork Producers banquet and pork queen contest will be held in Columbus on November 4.
