Hospitalized after single vehicle crash near Platte River Bridge
An Ainsworth man, 27 year old Robert C. Baxter, was hospitalized after a one vehicle accident two miles south of the Platte River Bridge on Highway 15. Deputy Sheriff Merle Hlavac said Baxter's pickup veered off the road when the steering failed, the vehicle leaving the roadway. Damage to the pickup was not reported.
