A south bound freight struck and killed a young man named Montgomery near Marshfield last night. His body was sent to his home in Scottsburg where he was believed to be riding and fell off. He is reported to be the son of a Scottsburg banker.
Wheat traded Tuesday at 87 cents while corn moved at 22 and 23 cents.
