A group of young people from Columbus spent a day in the country near Mrs. Elizabeth Dickey’s farm hunting paw paws and enjoying the outdoors. The party included Misses Florence Morgan Lillian Volland Myrtle Wisner Emma Volland Mayme McCollough and Messrs Kent Cooper Roy Jackson Horace Graves C Morrison. Gero H Cuxmins advertises school books and supplies at 406 Washington St. Anna Thropp sues Franklin Thropp for divorce.
The funeral for Raymond Ping will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon from his parents' home.
Local dealers paid twenty three cents for corn and eighty seven cents for wheat on Monday. E. H. Kinney was in South Bethany adjusting the loss on Wm. Rose's residence and was accompanied by his wife.

Saturday Miss Edith Duncan badly mashed and cut the index finger of her right hand. Dr Holder dressed the injury. The accident was very painful and will disable the hand for several days.

Mr. and Mrs. Neidah of Indiana polis spent Sunday with Miss Neidah’s father. Alexander Dancap of Maple Grove and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pulwider of are mentioned.
George Rubottom of Columbus applies for a patent on a grinding machine used at Winans store. The device, powered by a small electric motor, features two graters for coconut and horse radish and is touted as a potential royalty source for Rubottom.
De Kalb Wellman aged seventeen a new student in the Boulder University preparatory school was seriously injured after being tossed in a blanket by older students He struck his head and shoulders on the ground paralyzing the upper body and causing a serious curvature of the spine Citizens demand an end to hazing at the university.
Miss Rosenbaum lies dying after being shot by Lyda Hardin on Thursday night in Jeffersonville Indiana. Her mother Mrs Rosenbaum also dies from grief and nervous prostration with doctors predicting their deaths will not be fifteen minutes apart. The Hardin woman is jailed as the motive involved a dispute over the Rosenbaum brother John.
Senator David W. Turpie visits Evansville and declares his candidacy for reelection to the U.S. Senate. He advocates recognizing Cuban belligerency and annexing Cuba, arguing warships should be sent to press these demands.
Exwood Indiana reports the Elwood window glass factory is the busiest industry with orders from across the country and potential eighteen months of steady work.
