J nncksorville Florida May 8 The legislative investigating committee finds State Treasurer Collins short 50000 and demands impeachment and immediate retirement from office. Other prominent figures are implicated. George Richter and wife once of this city now in Indianapolis visited Sunday. A child was seen smoking on the street. Fire loss in the United States from 1870 to 1904 totals 2010204603. Dr KKD Hawley of Columbus seeks Congress in Holman district. A ten year old boy, child of Alonza Galentine near Petersville, drowned in Clifty Creek yesterday afternoon. A farm hand and the lad were by the creek. the man later found only the boy’s hat and after a search the body was recovered from the water near Bud Davis’s farm. The family mourns a tragic loss in a quiet rural community.
The seventeenth annual commencement at Wichita High School in Wicurra Oklahoma District May 8 features fifteen young men and nineteen young women in the class. Valedictorian Evelyn Louise Lease daughter of Mrs. Mary E Lease delivers the standout oration and wrote the class song. A funeral for Louis Stadler was conducted from his residence with pallbearers led by Wm. Brockman and Old Fellows in charge. Stadler, a longtime resident and former tailor, rests in the city cemetery.
