Brooklyn Fire Insurance Adjuster Indicted for Arson Accessory
George W. Holt of Brooklyn was indicted by a New York grand jury as an accessory after the fact to arson. He aided Samuel Milch, also an adjuster, while Milch was in hiding. Milch later turned informer. Holt, wealthy and respected, was released on $10,000 bail as the case ties to state prison operations.
