The jury found Geo Jones guilty of robbing clothes lines after arrest in Columbus and bringing him to this city the same night. He faces one to three years in Michigan City. The Herod girl was discharged and ordered home to Columbus or sent to jail.
Abe Mitchell who served one year for robbing the City Street Railway Company money boxes was released today. Dan Mitchell of Vigo county freed after two years for petit larceny. Jeff Clark, from Van derburgh county, to serve one to three years for petit larceny. The Journal of Saturday.
Relatives in this city have received notification of the arrival Friday morning at 7 o'clock of a fine boy baby at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene F. Martin of Palmyra Illinois. Mrs Martin was formerly Miss Addie Smith daughter of S Webber Smith of this city. Mother and babe are in good health.
George Schinnerer obtained a warrant Saturday night against a boy named McFadden for malicious trespass and destroying a harness. Officer Mc Calip served the warrant and arrested the youth. Mr McFadden posted bond for his son’s appearance this morning.
George Fowler was arrested for disturbing a Salvation Army meeting by Officers McCalip and Ferguson. Orlando Fortner was arrested for profanity by the same officers. Both jailed.

In Scipio Jennings County Indiana a dance was halted by a free for all fight among young couples with toiletries and hair decorations flying as the band played H I Broke Loose in Georgia.
The little son of George W Caldwell is recovering. Mr Caldwell was released from quarantine Saturday after a week housed up. Premises were fumigated today and the flag will be taken down shortly. Al Gaston, touring clown of the Nickle Plate Circus, returned home Saturday. The circus has winter quarters at Gallipolis Ohio. The J M &1 time card change displeased the young Seymour residents. Miss Maude Beatty returned from Cincinnati Sunday with holiday stock for The Hustler.
Isaac Bradford and wife update from Edinburg where Mrs Bradford shows improvement. Columbus visitor H H Schwartzkopf called in forenoon. Rep Ed Bradford, telegrapher at Big Four depot, visited Indy area friends. Anthon Day of the Herald and Mrs Charlie Turpin also spent time with friends in Indianapolis and Franklin. Leath Adams arrived from Columbus on business.
