A Columbus store owner accuses local merchants of breaking a 8 pm closing covenant on Sundays. The note claims prior entry into the contract to keep doors locked and warns the contract will be enforced by closing the store at will unless others honor the agreement.

The addition will add 25 to 30 workers now, growing to 100 to 150 by June first as operations go fully in.

A horse owned by Irvin Spaugh ran away near Hope and dashed into the public square area hitting harnessed vehicles. A buggy owned by M. S. Hopkins and a cart owned by the Misses Snyder were demolished. No injuries reported.
