East Columbus Methodist Church Set for Sunday Dedication
The Methodist church in East Columbus will be dedicated next Sunday. John Williamson and family will move to their new home in New Albany in about a week. The week includes final examinations for students and local sickness reports. Mrs. Floyd Knight has recovered enough to be up and around, while Miss Kate Shea remains ill.

Death of Leah Beavers in Brown County
Leah Beavers wife of John Beavers died at her youngest son’s home in Brown county after old age and paralysis. Born August 7 1816 she died May 5 1898 aged 81 years 8 months 28 days.
