Charles Seibert was jailed last night for intoxication. He appeared before Mayor Beck this morning, pled guilty, and paid a fine plus costs totaling 12 dollars.
Cross Plains Ind March 1 Squire Craig rendered a verdict in Indiana v Hezekiah Hughes for the 1897 murder of Henry Schuter in Versailles jail. Hughes is found not guilty though about 200 in the mob are believed guilty. state Attorney General Ketchem to Indianapolis to report. closing arguments cited strong.
Mary Selby mother of Norman Selby known as Kid McCoy is taken to county jail by her son Homer then to an insane hospital. Believing in Christian science her mind has unbalanced. she was located in Cincinnati and returned by Homer. Homer heads to Hot Springs for a sparring exhibition as Kid McCoy plans city entertainment.
J. E. Ferguson, noted photographer, travels to Indianapolis for a three day visit to attend the state convention of photographers in session this week.
