Police disrupt Salvation Army meeting and arrest trio
Last night Charley Allen drunk and boisterous tried to break up a Salvation Army meeting then caused trouble at a bowling alley. Officer McCalip jailed Allen. John Wright and William Riley were sent to the Southern Reformatory by Sheriff Cox, with many cheering as they left. Wright maintains his innocence.

Man and dog trigger break of door glass at Wayland Wells
A man accompanied by a large dog entered Wayland Wells grocery store this morning. After making a purchase he exited, the dog then rushed the front door and shattered the large door glass with no warning.
