Death of Phillip Barkheimer and civic notes

Phillip Barkheimer born March 16 1863 died February 3 1898 of typhoid fever after ten days illness. He married Lida Settles at nineteen and leaves a wife five children parents two brothers and five sisters. He joined the Methodist church at nineteen and lived as a Christian. He rests in New Belleville cemetery after a large funeral procession. Also notes urge a better Columbus Waymansville road to boost county trade and Ohio Jackson township benefits. Enterprise Building and Saving Association reports 1897 dividends and loans. Directors and officers listed.
