Watson Jr. Arrest Pending Over Harness Theft Case

Jesse Watson Jr is under scrutiny as police connect him to a set of harness stolen from Joe Aults stable. The gear was recovered at William Knights home and Knight says he obtained it from Watson in exchange for a revolver. Sheriff Cox will continue the investigation.

Evansville and Richmond railway renamed Southern Indiana railway

Indiana Southern officials announce the Evansville and Richmond railway company is renamed the Southern Indiana railway company. The new name applies to the property today with officers listed including President J. R. Walsh and Secretary L. A. Walton. Offices are set at 185 Dearborn Street Chicago with operating offices in Bedford.
