Curiaco June 4. M. P. Chapman, a railroad and mining speculator, believed to have $147,000 in certified checks in his hat, is missing after leaving his West Van Buren street home at 8:30 Friday morning. He was to wed Mrs. Mary Q. Burkett Friday night. guests waited in vain as authorities search for him amid foul play suspicions.
