A meeting with architect Kenneth Wischmeyer was planned for recommended building plans. The board approved purchasing the Mees property adjoining the school for 6500.

PTA Benefit Scholarship Game At High School Gym

Dexner son of Kenneth P Dexner of 226 N Wenkel Columbia graduated Sept 24 from Marine recruit training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego California After eight weeks of intensified training under veteran drill instructors he learned small arms marksmanship bayonet fighting self protection drill history and traditions of the Marine Corps and other subjects The program compresses 12 weeks of training to eight He will spend four weeks at Camp Pendleton California for advanced infantry combat training before assignment to a school or Marine unit.
