City Council Delivers Annual Message and Year In Review
At the annual meeting the City Clerk reported April 1966 revenues of 16813.98 and the City Treasurer showed cash on hand of 110597.47 and pledges 26763.29. Council approved accounts payable and heard police and maintenance reports including 28 citations and 91 calls. They adopted parking restrictions near Temple Street and Evergreen Lane and awarded a sewer lagoon land bid of 350.00 to Oliver Krueger. Post 319 of the Columbia Explorer Scouts will conduct a free auto safety check at Kruse Chevrolet Co. on May 13 14. Friday hours are 6 8 p m and Saturday 9 a m to 2 p m.
