Choate a 28 year old time keeper at Belle Ellen mine in Birmingham killed himself Tuesday night by cutting his throat after trying to slit wrists. He died Wednesday at 3 am after failed medical aid. Brother in Columbia Town will claim the body at Lige Loy’s on Wednesday night.
