Paris Endicott-Chase Becomes Youngest Colfax Theater Owner
In Colfax a 13-year-old Paris Endicott-Chase received the keys to the vintage Colfax Theater from her grandfather Wendell Jacob at a birthday celebration that also honored the theater’s 65th anniversary. Ty Power Jr. appeared as a stand in for Tyrone Power for the Alexander's Ragtime Band revival, with Mayor Sharon Gierras and local coverage from Fox 40, Sacramento Bee and Auburn Journal. The event featured a nine-tiered cake, bands, and a free public screening, marking a rare, festive day in downtown Colfax.
