Colfax Ladies Investment Club Promotes Education and Enjoyment
The Colfax Ladies Investment Club, founded in 1997 by Audrey Meyers, gathers monthly at The Pizza Factory to study stocks and share research. About 23 members aged 20s to 80s pool $25 to $100 per meeting, invest in over 20 stocks, and vote by one member one vote, with profits often kept in the treasury for future bets. June Farrell, former Colfax mayor, serves as presiding partner and invites new members, noting the club adheres to National Association of Investors Corporation standards and meets with a mix of experienced and novice investors. Contact Farrell at 346-2548 or Meyers at 889-0622.
