Dutch Flat Woman Bridges Built Community Through Snow and Service
Eleanor Bridges, a Dutch Flat native and long-time resident, shaped her town by helping found the Dutch Flat Community Center and funding the fire department. Her early life spans Butte, Montana, a 1952 blizzard, and a pivotal vote that enabled Colfax High School, with ongoing community leadership and family ties to the Dutch Flat Volunteer Fire Department.
