Fourth of July in Colfax needs volunteers for big celebration
Our View urges community members to volunteer at the Colfax 4th of July event. The Colfax Area Chamber of Commerce organizes pyrotechnics, logistics, and cleanup but needs about 40 helpers for tasks such as traffic control and information booth duties. Moving the display to Friday aims to cut attendance from 15 000 to about 5 000. Call 346-8888 or check in at the gazebo desk on July 4 for details and participation.
